IVN/NIOZ lectures 2025 (in Dutch)

From January to April, five IVN/NIOZ lectures (in Dutch) will be held on the theme: From Sun to Seal. Who eats what on the mudflats? The sun's energy causes algae to grow and flourish, shellfish and other animals eat the algae, which in turn are eaten by fish and birds. The fish are then eaten by the seals. And when a seal dies, microbes, among other things, release the nutrients back into the algae. This completes the circle. This food web will be explained in five consecutive presentations.
