The village of Yerseke is located in the province of Zeeland in the middle of the ‘Delta area’. The NIOZ building sits directly on the bank of the Eastern Scheldt, making it the perfect basis voor many of our estuarine and delta research.

Parking
There is a parking space for disabled visitors in the car park at the main entrance.
Visitors in wheelchairs
NIOZ is easily accessible for visitors in wheelchairs via the main entrance. There is a lift in the building for changing floors.
Assistance dogs
NIOZ is partially accessible to visible assistance dogs, for which a recognisable harness is required. However, there are areas to which they do not have access, such as the laboratories. More information is available from the receptionists.
Accessible toilets
NIOZ has a toilet on the ground floor that is accessible to wheelchair users.
Breastfeeding
A room is available for expressing milk or breastfeeding.
Quiet and prayer room
The receptionists will be happy to help visitors find a suitable room.
