Making NIOZ research globally available and preserving it for the future

The NIOZ library provides access to scholarly information and works together with scientists to create and manage research information. We make NIOZ research globally available and preserve it for the future.

The NIOZ library increases the institute’s impact by collecting, managing and sharing our scientists’ contributions to knowledge and society. Our aim is the careful and responsible management of the record of scholarship done by NIOZ researchers.

NIOZ Repository

The NIOZ Repository provides access to the institute’s research output. It contains over two-thousand articles, books, theses and other materials published since 2011.

NIOZ collection

Our library collection includes journals, books, ebooks, reports, theses and atlases. It covers not just marine biology, but oceanography, marine chemistry, marine geology and marine physics as well.

All our printed books and journals can be browsed in the NIOZ catalogue.

Almost all our current journals are digital-only and only available for NIOZ employees.
