Dr Jesse van der Grient

I am an ecosystem scientist, working from coast to deep ocean ecosystems. I am interested in understanding how marine ecosystems respond to multiple simultaneous (cumulative) pressures across scales. Pressures include environmental such as climate-change factors, and anthropogenic factors such as fisheries and deep-sea mining. I am also interested in translating ecological insight and methods from one (data-rich) to other (data-poor) systems.
