Research interests

My research interests are on using numerical modelling to understand systems and processes, verify how well the prediction is perfomed by these models and possibly develop techniques to improve the performance of the models. In my point of view, coastal models are an essential tool for the development and management of the coastal zone, especially when dealing with adaptation to climate change.

My PhD is about sediment transport under changing sea levels and its aim is to investigate the changes in sediment transport in the North Sea and Wadden Sea as a consequence of current and future climate-induced sea-level variations.
