• Since November 2012: Post-doctoral researcher at the NIOZ, Department of Marine Geology  (Texel, The Netherlands).
• 2009 - 2012: Post-doctoral researcher in the NWO project "INATEX, Indian-Atlantic Ocean Exchange in present and past climate" at the NIOZ, Department of Marine Geology (Texel, The Netherlands).
• 2007 – 2009: Post-doctoral researcher in the DFG project "Land-Ocean-Atmosphere Interactions in the Coastal Zone of Vietnam" at the Department of Sedimentology and Coastal Geology, Kiel University (Kiel, Germany).
