The recovery of the mooring starts with rubber-boat assistance to attach lines to the release beacon and empty aluminium LOM (see photo, taken 2 days ago). Today we could not do this because of the wind-conditions. It is planned for tomorrow.

When the Pelagia has winched-in all lines and cable a sea-street of glass-spheres is floating behind us (below, left). During both recoveries so far, dolphins accompanied the glass spheres to the surface.

One by one the glass spheres are hoisted on deck (above, top-right). They are unscrewed from the lines and stored separately. Note the old-dutch cheese-carriers-tool to take them to their Piet-made storage box (above, bottom-right).
