The sampling continues on the eastern part of the plume. Routine?
Not at all! Every day at sea is different.

The weather is so fine and sunny that we are all in good spirits. Sometimes the sea turns into a highway,
container ships coming one after another. While Fiona is in the kitchen giving a hand in
preparing the meals (did she miss her calling?), Anna, Matias and Erwin are discussing about
a significant problem : bubbles interfering with conductometer measurements.

At about 3 o'clock this afternoon, everybody was requested to be on the foredeck
for a group photo. After several attemps through a camera precariously installed in
height and held by a piece of string, crew members, researchers and students were gathered
for posterity.

The data collected today have raised a lot of questions and the situation seems more complex than
the one suggested by satellite images. The transect of tonight will probably provide some answers.
