Description of female Copepodite stage V: this instar of Temora longicornis is characterised by 4 pairs of long swimming feet and a short 5th one. The forebody consists of 5 segments. The urosome has 2 segments, the first of which is ventrally swollen, plus the telson. The right antennule of the female is similar to the left one; counting from the distal tip, the 5th and 6th segments are of similar size, each with 2 setae standing up from the antennule.
