Accomodation

All attendants are free to arrange the hotel of their liking and they are expected to make their own hotel bookings.

This can easily be done, using one of the following hotel booking sites:

www.booking.com

(click here for a specific link on this website with hotels in Amsterdam between September 7 and 11)

www.hotels.nl/amsterdam

(We can recommend the Hotel Rho (http://www.rhohotel.com/) being close to the venue.)

See also hotel locations with Google Maps..

At the moment (early July), there is still plenty of rooms available, but don’t wait too long with booking a room!!

Amsterdam is a very popular city with tourists and September is still in the middle of tourist season

All hotels in the downtown area are within walking distance of the venue.

If anyone needs more info on a specific hotel (distance to meeting venue, hotel review, etc.) please, contact Ira van den Broek (Ira.van.den.Broek@nioz.nl) or Taco de Bruin (Taco.de.Bruin@nioz.nl)

Please, be also aware that the meeting venue is just adjacent to the red light district (to the West of the venue). Even though this is a relatively safe area, it is not advised to book a hotel in the area between Dam and Nieuwmarkt, North of the Damstraat and Oude Hoogstraat, because of the very noisy night life in this quarter. See the map.
