Hotels available on the island of Texel can be found at http://www.hotels.nl/texel/ We regularly make hotel reservations for our guests in different hotels, most frequently in Hotel Den Burg and Hotel De Lindeboom in Den Burg and Hotel Rebecca in De Waal.
Hotel Den Burg

Route to hotel 'Den Burg' by car: Leave the ferry and drive straight in the direction of 'Den Burg' until the roundabout near the village (about 6 km distance). Here, you turn right into the village. After approx. 0.5 km the road makes a 120� right turn, and after another 0.5 km it makes a 135� left turn. Just after this left turn there is a small road on your left hand (at 90�). This gives access to the parking lot of hotel den Burg, which is located slightly (approx. 50 m) further along the main road that you have left, also on your left hand. If you missed this small road on your left, you will pass the hotel on the main road, but you can drive back by making a full circle on the roundabout just after the hotel (at the VW garage 'De Texelse Autocentrale'). Route to hotel 'Den Burg' by bus: At the ferry terminal of Texel, leave the ferry on the right hand side and you will automatically see the bus terminal. From there, take Conexxion bus 28 with destination 'De Koog via Den Burg'. The village of Den Burg is located centrally on the island about 7 km from the ferry harbour. The bus stop where you have to go out is the first stop after the main bus terminal in Den Burg (named 'De Elemert'). When the bus departs again from the main terminal, it turns sharply left onto the Emmalaan. Then you first see a green field on your left hand side and after about 300 m there are again some buildings. The bus passes the hotel and the next bus stop is located just after the roundabout onto which you arrive just after the bus has passed the hotel. This bus stop is called 'De negenennegentig (The 99)'. From there you walk about 150 m back to the hotel. Hotel De Lindeboom

Route to hotel 'De Lindeboom' by bus: At the ferry terminal of Texel, leave the ferry on the right hand side and you will automatically see the bus terminal. From there, take Connexxion bus 28 with destination 'De Koog via Den Burg'. The village of Den Burg is located centrally on the island about 7 km from the ferry harbour. The bus stop where you have to go out is the main bus terminal in Den Burg (called 'De Elemert'). Once you got out, you continue your way in the direction you arrived by bus. This is into the centre of the village. When you have passed two crossroads at a short distance from each other you arrive at the beginning of a large square (de Groeneplaats); on your left-hand side you have at that moment the optician's shop 'Winnubst'. On the other side of the square, you can now see a large white stately old building with a conservatory on its left side; this is hotel 'De Lindeboom'. Route to hotel 'De Lindeboom' by car: Leave the ferry and drive straight in the direction of 'Den Burg' until the roundabout near the village (about 7 km distance). Here, you turn right into the village. After approx. 0.5 km the road makes a 120� right turn. In this curve, you can turn left twice; you have to take the second possibility in the direction 'Centrum'. Then you will pass the main bus station on your left-hand side. Drive straight on and you will pass two crossroads at a short distance from each other before you arrive at a T-crossing at the beginning of a large square (de Groeneplaats). At that moment, you have on your left-hand side the optician's shop 'Winnubst'. On the other side of the square, you can now see a large white stately old building with a conservatory on its left side; this is hotel 'De Lindeboom Texel'. Turn left at the T-crossing and you will automatically enter the parking area on the left-hand side of the hotel (coins for the operation of the barrier can be obtained from the hotel reception when you want to leave again). Route to hotel Rebecca by car: Leave the ferry and drive straight in the direction of 'Den Burg' until the first roundabout near the village (about 6 km distance). Here, you go straight ahead for another km until the second roundabout. Turn right here in the direction of De Waal, De Cocksdorp and Oosterend.. After approx. 0.5 km take the second exit to the right in the direction of De Waal and Oosterend. Follow the road for about 3 km until the third roundabout. Here, you turn round for about 300˚ entering the small street directly into the village of De Waal. You will find the hotel after a few 100 metres on your right hand side. The street may be narrow, but there is ample parking space for your car next to and behind the hotel. Route to hotel Rebecca by bus: This is certainly not advisable!! Please take a taxi at the TESO ferry terminal or order one by telephone at +31(0)222 312 000.
