Acartia clausi Copepodite IV male
Description of male Copepodite stage IV: this instar of Acartia
clausi is characterised by 4 pairs of long swimming feet and a short 5th
one. The forebody consists of 5 segments, the urosome has 2 segments plus the telson.
The furca carries 5 pairs of setae, the outermost of which has developed newly
and is very short yet.
