Acartia clausi adult male
Description of adult
male: the adult male of Acartia clausi is characterised by 4
pairs of long swimming feet and a short 5th one which has the shape of
a claw. The forebody consists of 5 segments. The antennules are obviously bent
near the base, giving them a shoulder-like appearance. The urosome has 4
segments, plus the telson. The furca carries 5 pairs of setae.
