Temora longicornis adult male

 

 

Description of adult male: the adult male of  Temora longicornis is characterised by 4 pairs of long swimming feet and a short 5th one which has the shape of a claw. The forebody consists of 5 segments, the urosome has 4 segments plus the telson. The right antennule is thickened towards the tip and contains a joint, enabling to grip the female during mating.
