Temora longicornis copepodite IV male

 

 Description of male Copepodite stage IV: this instar of Temora longicornis is characterised by 4 pairs of long swimming feet and a shorter 5th one. The forebody consists of 6 segments, the urosome has 2 segments plus the telson. The right antennule of the male differs from the left one by the relatively small 5th segment (counted from the distal tip), and by a spine on the 6th segment oriented alongside the antennule.
