Description of
Copepodite stage III: this instar of Acartia clausi is characterised by 4 pairs of long swimming feet.
The forebody consists of 6 segments, the urosome has 1 segment plus the telson.
The furca carries 4 pairs of setae, the outermost of which has developed newly
and is very short yet.
