VMADCP-System
Goal	Measuring current velocities down to 600 m depth during steaming and stations  of R.V. Pelagia.
Description	R.V. Pelagia is equipped with a 75 kHz BroadBand hull mounted ADCP. The VMADCP is powered via a deckunit. Control en data communication is possible via a RS-232 channel. On a logging computer VM-DAS (for acquisition)  and WinADCP (for display and data conversion) are installed.
Remarks	In water with a depth less then 700 meter bottom tracking is possible. When deeper the navigational- and ship-motion data provided by the Seapath 2000 can be used as reference.
