Supporting Marine Science in the field of Technology is our main purpose. This means: ·         technical support during seagoing expeditions ·         logistic support ·         development and maintenance of marine research instruments.   Furthermore Marine Technology takes care for the mechanical and electronical engineering, construction, instrumentation, procurement, commissioning and operations support of Marine Research Equipment.   For realizing these goals, approximately 24 people are working in three departments, covering a broad range of capabilities, knowledge and experience in the field of marine technology:
