Description of female Copepodite stage
V: this instar of Acartia clausi
is characterised by 4 pairs of long swimming feet and a short 5th
one. The forebody consists of 5 segments. The urosome has 2 segments, the first
of which is ventrally swollen, plus the telson. The furca carries 5 pairs of
setae.
