Marine Technology Mechanics
The work of Marine Technology Mechanics is threefold:
- Developing, constructing, testing and commissioning of marine research equipment
- Providing technical, operational and logistic support for research cruises. Onboard activities include piston coring, mooring operations, bottom lander operations and a wide variety of (deep) sea operations
- Maintenance and repair of NIOZ-MRF's seagoing equipment
