Student opportunities

At the department of Marine Ecology, we offer internships for:

• Students from Higher Professional Education (stagaires van MLO of HLO)
• University students (Ecology and Biology)

Topics

We offer internships covering a wide range of topics, reflecting the broad expertise and activities within the department. Internships are often part of a larger research project, for example of a PhD student or Postdoc, but they can also be separate stand-alone projects.

Conditions and accommodation for interns

NIOZ provides temporary accommodation at the campus 'de Potvis' on Texel close to the institute (approx. 5 minutes by foot). The housing expenses are subsidised by NIOZ. More information on accommodation on Texel can be found here.
