Dolphin And again we left for another GEOTRACES cruise. We sail back eastwards through the northern Mediterranean Sea. We left the beautiful city of Istanbul, accompanied by dolphins.

Leren manoeuvreren 8 weken aan boord werken als steward, dat doe ik als vakantiewerk deze zomer. Na deze reis zit de helft van m’n periode aan boord van de RV Pelagia erop. Ik blijf aan boord tot we aankomen op Texel.

Leaving Istanbul In the evening of 13 July we left Istanbul. It was already dark and Istanbul was celebrating the sunset, since it is Ramadan and the people were allowed to eat. We sailed under bridges decorated with many lights that in time changed colour.
