Aymen sampling in the wetlab

First I present myself, my name is Aymen Saadi a PhD student from the INSTM Salambôo in Tunisia and I'm from Makthar, a city in the north of my country. I want to say thank you to everybody on board and especially to Rick and Alex who prepared for me special dishes because I'm already vegetarian, also Martijn and Marcel who give me a hand in the calibration of my instrument. When I had the information that I have the opportunity to be a member of MedBlack GEOTRACES it was really a proud moment for me and a good opportunity to sweep the Mediterranean for more chance to enrich my studies. I left Texel on pelagia on 8th may and I had the opportunity to discover the North Sea and the Atlantic that was hard with the sea sick, but admiring dolphins was a good luck. My main interest is to determine the Bacterial communities in sediment water interface at the bottom of the water column. Few days and 14 stations still at the horizon it will be very fast and very tiring but I would like it to be successful. Good luck for everybody, thanks Nioz, thanks Micha, thanks all the crew of pelagia. Love you mum, Love you Malek
