Underwater
In the photo we see the LOM underwater, at the bottom, seconds before its release and rolling off. The water in the Alboran Sea is thus full of particles and small swimmers that the sight is limited to about 5 m, also 900 m deep. This limits the underwater videos and also the robot-submarine (ROV)!

After the unrolling, the ROV went in the water to inspect the string-mooring. The entire 680 m string was inspected with the ROV at 2-5 m distance, slowly moving upwards. It was a spectacular sight and the command-container got very warm over time, due to the number of people filling it.

The entire operation gave very useful test-information. The string was seen completely straight, untwisted, and with sufficient slack in the data-cable (left). The glass spheres were in the correct position (right).
