2nd International Seaweed Symposium

DLG BENELUX, Wageningen UR (PRI & IMARES) and MCN are happy to announce the 2nd International Seaweed Symposium, organised in cooperation with NIOZ, TNO, ECN, Hortimare, ATO, Blueport, Stichting Zeewierboerderij & Province of North-Holland. This international conference will take place in Den Helder and Texel, The Netherlands, from 25 - 26 September this year. Following the success of the first edition in Zeeland, the Netherlands in September 2012.
At this international conference you will discover the business opportunities seaweeds and seaweed commodities offer to your company. Science will meet practice, visions & trends in the field of starting materials, cultivation and harvesting, biofiltering and waste streams, market chain development and biorefinery will be discussed, posters will be presented, technical visits to several aquaculture hotspots in the North Sea will be made, and workshops can be followed. Next to this you will have sufficient time to network and do business.

An excellent platform where companies and scientists can demonstrate their products and/or services by means of a stand or a poster presentation. The information market will be located in the foyer surrounding the conference room. This foyer is used for the registration of participants, coffee breaks and lunches as well.
